"A settler attacked us while we were in Dir al-Hatab to report on the uprooting of olive trees by a settler, he pointed his weapon at us" Palestinian TV correspondent in Nablus Bakr Abdel Haq told the media.

“Israeli occupation forces detained me along with cameraman Samer Habash, the driver Abdulla Sawalma and Sameh Hussian, member of Dir Al Hatab council, and they confiscated our press cards.”

The detention of Palestine TV crew came amid attacks carried out by Israeli settlers in a number of villages in the occupied West Bank after the killing of an Israeli settler on Tuesday night when an assailant shot at his car near a settlement in the north of the occupied West Bank.
