As part of its advocacy strive that lays the framework of its mission and policy, Doha Centre for Media Freedom (DCMF) has documented the grave violations and crimes committed by Israeli forces against journalists and media workers covering Tel Aviv’s aggression on Gaza.

This comprehensive report, which was prepared in collaboration with Gaza Centre for Media Freedom, DCMF’s partner on the ground, documents all violations committed so far by Israeli forces against media workers in Gaza since the outbreak of the so-called “Operation Protective Edge.”

DCMF condemns the brutal killings of these journalists and conveys condolences to the families of all journalists killed in Gaza. The centre would like to point out that killing journalists and targeting media is a serious threat to freedom of opinion and expression guaranteed by the human rights international charters.

DCMF condemns Israel’s attempt to gag any organisation or person disseminating the reality of the crimes committed against the people of the Gaza Strip.
